Hyperthesis is extremely proud to share that Dr. Debbie MacInnis, a prominent consumer psychologist known the world over for her research and scholarly leadership, has joined our Board of Advisors.
Dr. MacInnis is a Professor of Marketing - and of Business Administration - at USC’s Marshall School of Business. She's received some of the world's top awards for papers that make the greatest contribution to marketing discourse, as well as a Long-Term Contribution Award from the Review of Marketing Research. She's served as Co-Editor of the Journal of Consumer Research and Associate Editor for the Journal of Marketing and the Journal of Consumer Psychology. She's also the co-author of a leading textbook on consumer behavior, a former President of the Association for Consumer Research, and former Vice President of Conferences and Research for the American Marketing Association’s academic council. At USC, she previously served as Vice President of Research and Strategy and Vice Dean of the Undergraduate Program. In her spare time, she's consulted for notable consumer packaged goods companies, business-to-business marketers, and advertising agencies.

Dr. MacInnis will be aiding with Hyperthesis with its relations to academia, as well as with developing the domain-specific ontologies our system relies on. And we're very grateful to have her on board!
